	Industrial measurement of oxygen under an air deficiency - a paradox? Fuel is used not only for the production of heat but also, in some technological processes, for the generation of inert-gas atmospheres. Interesting thermochemical and thermophysical reactions are exploited in such contexts for the purpose of process optimization. Quality assurance expects repeatable process results which can be achieved only via control interventions in the process system. Such an assignment is examined below for a combustion system for reduction of metals, and is then depicted in the form of a control diagram.
04.04.05	New bus coupler for rail line system
	Open for worldwide communication with Ethernet The successful rail-mounted rail line equipment range supplied by PMA has been expanded. The Ethernet field bus coupler RL ETH with "Ethernet ModBus/TCP protocol for automation" standardizes the plant's IT infrastructure, and provides an economic hook-up to PCs and PLCs.
