The successful rail-mounted rail line equipment range supplied by PMA Prozeß- und, in Kassel, Germany, has been expanded: The Ethernet field bus
coupler RL ETH with "Ethernet ModBus/TCP protocol for automation" standardizes the plant's
IT infrastructure, and provides an economic hook-up to PCs and PLCs. Apart from decentralized
operation, the RL ETH also offers many cost-reducing advantages. The central supply voltage
connects directly to the coupler, thus eliminating individual wiring to the other modules.
Any combination of rail line units, such as the universal transmitter UNIFLEX CI 45, the
universal controller KS 45 or even the DIN-approved temperature limiter TB 45, can be connected.
Module replacement during operation is possible (hot swap). The coupler's BluePort® interface not only serves to configure the system structure, but also to upload the Engineerings of every connected module. An easy-to-use system Wizard supports the BlueControl® Oprogramowanie package. The photo shows the Ethernet bus coupler RL ETH with connected rail line function modules. |
