After more than three years of practical experience in worldwide Aplikacje, the latest
version (2.0 SR 1) of the BlueControl® Engineering Tools supplied by PMA Prozeß- und
Maschinen-Automation, in Kassel, Germany, now offers decisive improvements to details that
make life even easier for the user when tuning PMA controllers to an application.
This new, universal process simulation Oprogramowanie package permits true-to-life conditions to be created, whereby practically every known mathematical approach is possible, e.g. a Laplace function or as a series arrangement of up to 10 delay elements, both options with dead time, of course. For even higher realism, a disturbance function is configurable. This means that the simulation package is an ideal tool for absolutely safe testing of control configurations and strategies before commissioning, or for instruction and training purposes, thus saving time and costs. Similarly, the electronically-assisted parameter adjustment is a great help when tuning one of the many PMA controllers supported by the system. Moreover, the new tool tips provide fast and detailed information on the individual parameters, or the function of the selected setting. The online "Help" comes with an index and a search function, and features surveys with the relevant menu structures and all selectable functions. In this way, the operator - whether beginner or expert - is encouraged to try out the numerous adjustment possibilities without any risk.
