PMA at the FAKUMA exhibition on 18. - 22. October 2005
Hall A 5, Stand 5308
with novelties for machine automation
|

With an example of extruder automation and hot-runner control, PMA Prozeß- und Maschinen-Automation GmbH
(Kassel, Germany) will be showing novelties in the area of process technology, control, and operation,
at the FAKUMA 2005 trade fair in Friedrichshafen.
One highlight is a new generation of automation systems with touch-panel operation developed by PMA, and
the multi-temperature controllers. A complete automation system with integrated SoftPLC for an extrusion
plant will be demonstrated.
The KS vario multi-temperature controllers (designed specifically
for plastics processing machines) not only feature field bus ports for CANopen, DeviceNet, Modbus, and
PROFIBUS DP, but now also have a direct Ethernet port for Ethernet Modbus/TCP and Ethernet IP protocols.
This ensures fast and simple linking into an existing production network or the company's Intranet.
In the area of single-loop controllers, PMA supplies equipment in all standard formats:
from the ECO 11, the smallest device with front dimensions of 24 x 48 mm,
to the specialist controller KS 50-1 Tcont for tempering units and
hot runners in the standard 48 x 96 mm DIN format, up to the KS 42-1,
an ideal replacement controller in the 96 x 96 mm format for retrofitting old analog devices.
The new G100 low-cost pressure transmitter series complements PMA's range
of measurement equipment.
Our Co-exhibitor A&E Produktionstechnik GmbH presents innovative solutions for multi-component injection
molding machines. More information see here.
During the past months, PMA has carried out intensive training for personnel of the worldwide sales and service
network of our parent company Danaher Sensors & Controls, to acquaint them with PMA's product range. Backed by
a specialist team in Kassel, PMA actively supports new and existing customer contacts.
Our experts look forward to meeting you at the exhibition for an exchange of ideas, discussions about new trends
in automation, specific solutions for ongoing projects, and our new worldwide customer support facilities.
