Data Monitor 3005 is the name of a new paperless data recorder from PMA in Kassel.
Fitted with an unusually sharp 5,5-inch TFT colour display, the recorder comes
with 3, 6 or 12 universal 16-bit inputs (Class 0,2%), with the option of additional
12 inputs via the MODBUS master function. The unit not only provides recording,
visualization, documentation, and archiving of process data, but also uses the
optional Ethernet interface to communicates e.g. with office PCs via the company
Intranet. In addition to the use of CompactFlash storage media, this feature permits
automatic redundant data storage by means of FTP transfer. Thanks to the automatic
e-Mail function, inspection tours are a thing of the past. Similarly, unit
configuration via the Intranet (or the standard serial interface) helps to reduce
maintenance costs even more.
Apart from the listed features, the simple, intuitive operation and the highly attractive price will encourage users to change from previous mechanical, maintenance-intensive point and line recorders.
