Worldwide communication with RM 204 Ethernet

The RM 200 range of distributed IO modules - from PMA Prozeß- und Maschinen-Automation GmbH, Kassel, Germany - for process engineering Aplikacje has been expanded with an Ethernet field bus coupler. The coupler RM 204 offers a cost-effective means for hooking up to PCs and PLCs via Ethernet and the Modbus/TCP protocol. Per node, up to 16 analog inputs and 16 analog outputs, or up to 9 digital input/output modules (72 IO) can be used. Thus the RM 200 system now provides field bus couplers for: CANopen (RM 201), PROFIBUS-DP (RM 202), Modbus RTU (RM 203) and Ethernet (RM 204).
