Recently included in the transmitter range of PMA Prozeß- und Maschinen-Automation GmbH, in Kassel, are the
low-cost Series G100 pressure transmitters. With a mounting length of just 35 mm, these rugged and particularly
compact units are available with measuring ranges from 0..6 bar up to 0..2200 bar (gauge). Moreover, there is a
wide choice of process couplings. Three different connector versions are available for the standard signals. Due
to the thin-film strain gauge sensing element, settling times of a few milliseconds are achieved, together with
high long-term stability. Process media temperatures up to 125 °C can be handled. The unit's bursting pressure
is six times the nominal pressure. What's more, the use of martensitic stainless steel makes these transmitters
insensitive to crevice corrosion.
