Vario - Systems
With its new VARIO I/O modules, PMA in Kassel now offers maximum flexibility for decentralized
installation of I/O circuits plus high adaptability to the most varied Aplikacje in the areas
of machine and plant engineering, the auto-motive industry, as well as process, energy, traffic
and building automation.
Connection of the VARIO system to various PLC or PC-based automation solutions presents no problems,
thanks to the bus-coupler module for the most common open bus standards (Ethernet, CANopen,
PROFIBUS-DP/V1, DeviceNet or Modbus), whereby the module also provides the system's energization.
Any number of digital and analog I/O modules, each with 2 to 16 channels, can be connected to the
bus coupler, thus providing optimum modularity for every application. Several dedicated units,
such as the stand-alone multiloop con-trollers, complement the wide range of I/O modules.
